Atlanta man Tames J. McCutchen 59 extradited back to Aiken County from Georgia where he had served time on related charges. He is accused of slitting a man named Nick Peterson 30 times and stabbing him at the Deluxe Inn on Edgefield Highway in March 2003. Peterson, stabbed in arms back chest head and neck, was moved to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Investigators say over $1,000 was stolen and a stolen Fulton County car fled the scene. McCutchen faces assault and battery with intent to kill armed robbery and weapon during a violent crime charges.
