Razvan Moraru a Fox Creek High School math teacher and first year staff member earns May Family Member of the Month honors. He previously served as a long term substitute at North Augusta High School and comes from a lineage of educators.

Lexie Brent joined The First Tee of Aiken as program director after serving as assistant golf professional at Woodside Plantation Country Club. Brent, from Avon Lake Ohio, played college golf at Trinity University and Clemson, earning a professional golf management degree in 2012. The First Tee of Aiken serves the Central Savannah River Area with youth programs that emphasize character and life skills through golf.
Former Savannah River National Laboratory Director Dr. Tex Wright is named chairman of Sellafield after the board tasked with reorganizing the British nuclear site. Wright’s succession follows his recent role as managing director. successor is Ian Price who has held senior nuclear posts. Sellafield lies on England’s northwest coast.
The Watson-Brown Foundation invites high school students to join the Junior Board for historic preservation and philanthropy.
