Letter Carriers Lead One Day Food Drive

The National Association of Letter Carriers and the U S Postal Service organize a nationwide one day food drive with Golden Harvest Food Bank coordinating local collection. Residents are asked to place non perishable items at mailboxes or drop them at post offices for distribution to pantries across a 24 county South Carolina and Georgia area. Last year the drive raised over 32 million pounds nationwide with about 30000 pounds collected locally.
