Sparse turnout in Jackson town election
In Jackson only 171 of about 1,000 registered voters cast ballots. The contested four year council seat drew four candidates with Linda Muns 150 votes, Charles Tipton 137, James Ellis 128, and Frank Casisa 60. The two year seat went to William Witt unopposed with 152 votes and Barson unopposed for Public Works Commissioner with 148.

Fragrance Plant Coming to Florence County
