Augusta Students Enroll in Aiken Private Schools
Aiken private schools report several Augusta students from Richmond County in St Angela Academy, Aiken Preparatory, Aiken Day School, and Mead Hall. Richmond County tests last fall show below national averages for fourth and eighth grade achievement and IQ, with psychologist Sizemore linking results to lower academic ability and student migration to private schools. North Augusta officials deny rumors of Augusta families renting space to attend in that area.
