Three shootings reported Sunday morning in Aiken County
Aiken County deputies investigated three early Sunday shootings. At Graniteville Recreation Center two people injured after shots fired from a white Chevrolet Impala. A gray minivan fired into a Glenwood Drive home, and shots were fired from a white car at Laurel Avenue. All cases under separate investigation with tips urged to 803-648-6811 or Crime Stoppers.

North Augusta charity Laces 4 Love aided over 40 Head Start preschoolers in Aiken with new shoes. Founded 13 years ago via First Baptist Church of North Augusta, the group now serves about 3,000 children in Head Start, Nicaragua, West Virginia, and soon Guatemala. Volunteers plan to distribute up to 600 pairs to rural Nicaragua villages this year.
