Hospital Upgrades ICU With New Compact ECG Gear
Aiken Community Hospital’s ICU received three new units from Hewlett Packard at a cost of 85 000 dollars. The upgraded ECG systems combine patient readouts on one computer and monitor multiple pressures, with alarms and self test features to aid rapid response. An adjustable cardioverter defibrillator monitor adds critical shock capability.
