South Aiken High Band Performs at Magic Kingdom
South Aiken High School band of 45 students and 10 adults traveled by charter bus to Orlando on April 3 for a Magic Kingdom visit and four hours of Disney Magic Music Days on April 4. They performed on April 5 on the Astro Stage in Tomorrowland and enjoyed a Magic Music Breakfast before returning late April 6. The trip, approved by the school board in November, was funded by two fundraisers and led by band director Monte Blackwell.
