North Augusta man charged after salon harassment incident
Roy Jack Butler, 69, was arrested after allegedly harassing a hair stylist at a North Augusta salon on Edgefield Road. Police say he made sexually explicit remarks, tried to hug her, and asked personal questions before leaving. he later returned with fried chicken and left. Butler faces a trespass notice and a molestation charge.

Check scam targets Aiken resident in delivered package
An Aiken resident received a UPS next day package from Endless Mountain Corp. in Pennsylvania containing a check for $2,625 made out to Paul Ludgate. The resident did not know the sender and alerted the FBI, which said the business had been hacked. Police recovered the check and package.
