Firearm safety kits offered to county residents
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with Project HomeSafe will provide 600 firearm safety kits, including a gun lock, at the sheriff’s office on Hampton Avenue and during a Safe Tour at Whiskey Road Wal-Mart. The program aims to prevent unauthorized access by children and others.
