15-Year-Old Detained After Alleged Vehicle Window Vandalism
A 15-year-old Aiken boy was detained after authorities say he smashed windows of a gray Volkswagen with a hammer and blamed an unidentified suspect. The boy later admitted damaging the vehicle after his father found the hammer and questioned him. A separate incident describes a 20-year-old Trenton woman who was targeted by an ATM scam involving a counterfeit check. The victim deposited the check and withdrew 400 dollars. the bank later flagged the check as bad and the funds were not added.
