Stolen Car Involved in Fatal Early Morning Crash
A Saturn four door with a Georgia plate involved in a single car crash on Outing Club Road was reported stolen by its Savannah owner the morning of the wreck. Ivory A. Kirkland Jr., 37, of Aiken, died when the car struck a drainage culvert and overturned. The owner reported the theft about 8 a.m. after being warned by an alias caller. The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m with the overturned vehicle found at 1:45 a.m near 200 Outing Club Road.
