South Carolina officials fined 323 businesses in the first year for failing to use E-Verify to confirm new hires. In Aiken County Jumpin Bean Inflatables Bowen Auto Parts Genesis and Associates Savannah River Banking Co and Silver Bluff Animal Hospital were cited for at least one unverified worker. The firms received one year probation and must report employee data quarterly. none of the local firms hired illegals and no licenses were suspended.
