Welsh visitors serenade Aiken Rotary Club in 1960s culture exchange
On Monday 20 students from Llanidrid High School joined Aiken Rotary Club. Led by Andrew Gentle the group explained Welsh history and language, sang Edrych Fry and a rugby song, and highlighted a cultural exchange beyond schooling. Bloodhound tracking dogs demonstrated by Officer Hunt and Martin Sawyer Jr. noted a high call volume in 1997 with 11 arrests and one missing person. The club meets weekly at Houndslake Country Club.
