Man charged in assault at hospital in Aiken
Andre D. Tufts a 30 year old orthopedic technician at Aiken Regional Medical Centers was arrested on a third degree criminal sexual conduct charge after allegedly touching a female patient inappropriately while she was admitted March 17. He is held on a 10000 dollar bond at the Aiken County Detention Center as ARMC removed him from staff. The victim reported the incident to police and later underwent examination at University Hospital in Augusta.
