Aiken Lions Club forms disaster relief chapter

Annette Hart announces a new Lions Club disaster relief chapter in Aiken County to assist Red Cross and local agencies after the March storms. An organizational meeting is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. at the American Red Cross building. The group seeks 25 to 30 volunteers to begin training and shelter management duties.
