Decade-Long Plan Begins In Horse Creek Entrance Cleanup

Garden Party Aiken At Ford Conger Field For Hunt Meet

Garden Party Aiken will host a large garden party at Ford Conger Field to open the National Steeplechase Association circuit as part of the Aiken Hunt Meet. The Guarantors' Tent will host a 200 by 66 foot setup with a U shaped buffet while guests enjoy roast beef and chicken breasts. Luncheon runs 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A jazz band will play all afternoon.

DOE Reworks SRS Separation Packages To Ease Layoffs

The Department of Energy revises the Savannah River Site separation plans to cut layoffs and alter the early retirement rule. Site Manager Dr. Mario Fiori cites employee comments and notes ERI remains unchanged due to costs while the window to elect early retirement extends to Sept. 30. The new plan raises the voluntary incentive to $7500 for hires after Sept. 27 1991 and applies a cafeteria style option valued at $20000 for Wackenhut Services Inc. workers.
