Health fair highlights organ donors and life saving stories
At USC Aiken 2002 health fair volunteers from Lifelink shared life changing transplant tales. Dick Irwin, 70, received a lung transplant 18 months ago. Wendy DeLeon’s daughter Patrice had a heart transplant five months earlier. Hundreds visited the Student Activity Center as Dorsey led the event with support from DHEC, Aiken groups, and sponsors. A blood drive and massage therapy demos complemented the program.
