Two Die in West Columbia Crash Involving Utility Pole
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identifies 21-year-old Lee Travis Rea of Lexington and 19-year-old Evan Davis Tyler of West Columbia as the victims in a wreck near West Columbia. Their vehicle ran off the road, struck a utility pole, overturned, and ended in a pond at about 11 p.m. Died at the scene. Autopsies planned to determine cause of death.

Missing Cat Found Two Years Later in California
A cat that vanished in Anderson South Carolina in 2013 reappeared in a Palm Springs U-Haul trailer. Kevin the orange tabby, micro chipped, was dehydrated and saved by Riverside County Animal Services after a routine inspection. Owner Cheryl Walls will reclaim him as investigators pursue how he boarded the vehicle.

Greenville deputy dragged by car during warrant service
A Greenville County sheriff's deputy sustained minor injuries after being dragged briefly by a car when attempting to serve a warrant. The deputy, part of a group locating a suspect at about 3 30 p m Tuesday, freed himself after breaking a car window to stop suspects from leaving while deputies search for the driver and other man.
