President Bush warned the United States will unleash war on Iraq unless Saddam Hussein disarms within 48 hours. He addressed Americans and allied audiences in a televised message, saying the tyrant will be gone and promising liberation for Iraqis despite opposition at home and abroad.

Rain soaks Aiken with heavy showers and thunderstorms forecast through tonight and again Wednesday. Officials say storm drains cope and traffic remains steady while temps stay in the low to mid 70s through Saturday and cool off by Sunday.
