Women who smoke half a pack daily face double the stroke risk of never smokers and those at two packs a day have six times the risk. Harvard physician Dr. Graham Colditz led the study presented at an American Heart Association meeting, highlighting smoking as a stroke risk factor for women.

Plane crashes into Bakersfield schoolyard end of recess
