Remembering Pat Koelker arts patron and artist

Pat Koelker 90 died Monday March 10 2008 in Aiken SC. She co founded Rose Hill Arts Center in 1972 and helped shape the Aiken Center for the Arts. Survived by daughter Maria Shackleton son Anthony Koeller two grandchildren Evan and Katherine. Funeral private with a public reception 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Malia's Restaurant.

Missing couple case deepens after executive commits death

Hilton Head Island authorities identify Dennis Gerwing as a person of interest in the Calverts disappearance. The 54 year old was found dead in his condominium after leaving two death by own action notes. Detailing the couple John Calvert 47 and Elizabeth Calvert 45 their firms and yacht life on Hilton Head, investigators say they still do not know the couple's whereabouts. The Club Group CFO Gerwing had been guiding a transition out of the Calverts company after they severed ties in December. Authorities will release autopsy results and continue the probe into the Calverts missing.
