Thousands join CSRA Heart Walk on Greeneway in North Augusta
The CSRA Heart Walk drew an estimated four to five thousand participants on the Greeneway, led by American Heart Association official Kim Enoch. Organizers aim to raise about $800,000 this year to fund local heart disease and stroke research and wellness programs, with about $600,000 raised by late morning. Survivors and supporters filled the crowd as awareness and fundraising goals moved closer to completion.
