BabyFest offers a free, 1 to 5 p.m. program for new and expectant parents on March 26 in the University Hospital Educational Center third floor. Attendees meet pediatricians and specialists and learn about infant care, feeding, safety, immunizations, and adjusting to a new baby with sessions on the first six weeks and common issues.
The W G Watson M D Women's Center invites expectant parents to join classes on breastfeeding childbirth education and parenting with tours of labor and nursery facilities. A free Thursday orientation runs 5 to 6 PM. A registered dietitian will be available on most days in March at the hospital cafeteria to answer nutrition questions.
