The Country Gardeners Garden Club met in February at Betty Parks home. Hostesses were Berta Lacher and Mary Jane Sheetz. Guest speaker Will Cole presented a slide show on Aiken history.
The Aiken-Barmwell Chapter of the South Carolina Genealogical Society earned its charter as the tenth chapter, linking members with over 2,000 others. February 10 marked the milestone event. Donna Findley celebrated her 30th with a luncheon at Rita and Tom Eisen t home. Guests toasted with Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers while a cake and gifts were shared. The party noted Donna's seven months pregnant and included friends Marsha Caldwell Charlene Howell Rhonda Burns and others.
