Aiken Trials Set With Warm Spring Weather
Aiken prepares for the 40th running of the Aiken Trials with forecast mid 70s and a 30 percent rain chance. Gates open at 10 a.m. and six trials begin at 2 p.m. at the Aiken Training Track on Two Notch Road. Tickets range from $1.50 to $4 with camping options, parking costs, and advance sales noted. The event supports Jaycee charities, with police and alcohol restrictions in place and larger restrooms to reduce fines. The day also features Hall of Fame inductions for Pleasant Colony Relaxing and De La Rose at Hopeland Gardens and polo matches at Bostwick Arena.
