Dogs Demand Action At Aiken Neighborhood Meeting

About 30 Crosland Park residents attended the City of Aiken Neighborhood Information Exchange at the Crosland Park Senior Citizens Center to raise issues from unleashed dogs to rusty water. Belvedere Water Bond Hearing Set Before County Council

North Augusta operates Belvedere’s water system but the district seeks a 1 million revenue bond and possibly a 500 thousand general obligation bond to buy the Belvedere system serving about 1900 residents. A public hearing before Aiken County Council is set for 7 p.m. at Belvedere Elementary School to hear opinions and discuss costs, millage, and potential condemnation if approved.
