City officials outlined how the hospitality tax funds are spent including 140000 for Smith-Hazel Recreation Center upgrades, 120000 to resurfice tennis courts, 80000 for park maintenance, and 17000 for irrigation. Council must approve all new expenditures and surpluses roll into the next year's budget. Dan Brown reports.

It specifies cored pineapple sliced melons peeled pineapple salads sandwiches bakery items coffee canned drinks seafood steamed burgers hot dogs packaged dinners fountain drinks and any food prepared on site by staff or contractors. Any served beverage including beer wine and liquor fall under the hospitality tax.
