Freshman Alana Beard scored 18 as No. 5 Duke defeated No. 18 North Carolina State 57 45 to win the ACC tournament in Greensboro. Michele Matyasovsky added 14 for the Blue Devils as Duke improved to 28 3. Wolfpack stifled Duke defense but still fell short.
