Ex-Rep Chris Corley set for June 9 hearing in DV case
Former South Carolina lawmaker Chris Corley waived Friday appearance as his next hearing is scheduled for June 9 at 1 30 p m. Corley faces up to 25 years for criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and pointing a weapon. He is accused of punching his wife, biting her nose, and aiming a handgun at her at their Graniteville home on December 26 in front of two children.

The Aiken County Community Relations Council opens public hearings at North Augusta High School from 10:30 a.m. to noon today. Five sessions will occur in county public schools this year with next meetings at Wagener Salley High School on March 18 and USCA on March 27.
