Records show a 1997 youthful offender sentence for two burglaries a grand larceny a malicious property injury and three credit card theft counts. No injuries reported. Dier’s vehicle was found near Churchill Commons where police took him into custody.
Aiken County’s legislative delegation eyed expanding election sites as officials noted some precincts exceed capacity. Stuart Bedenbaugh cited Hollow Creek 53 with 8,800 voters and an adequate but growing polling location at Chukker Creek Elementary. Ben Christensen urged reevaluating the 1,500 voter cap per precinct.
