Historic Legare-Morgan House to be redeveloped into five Charleston style homes
One of Aiken’s oldest houses, the Legare-Morgan House built in 1832 at 24 Laurens Street SW, will be sold as residential property by Laissez-Faire Properties owner Pam Thompson. The site will be divided into a 4 acre lot to accommodate five historic Charleston style homes with 2500 to 3000 square feet, while preserving the carriage house and gardens. Thompson says the city supports the project and several reservations have already been made. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and phone details are provided for more information.
