Michael A. Allen 39 of Tampa faces carjacking grand larceny and armed robbery charges for the Feb 23 spree in Aiken. He was arrested in Florida for shoplifting and later linked to the stolen 2003 Hyundai Tiburon found in a mall parking lot. Authorities say he assaulted a woman at East Pine Log Road Circle before fleeing. Extradition to Aiken is planned as warrants exist there.
ExxonMobil leaders visited the Savannah River Site to tour the Center for Hydrogen Research at SRNL and discuss partnerships with Toyota and General Motors.
