Flushing cat Basil to appear on Animal Planet prime time
Former Aiken resident Stephanie Spooner will see Basil the cat featured on Animal Planet’s The Planet’s Funniest Animals at 8 p.m. Basil enjoys flushing the toilet in a Washington townhouse. Spooner and co owner Julian Lockwood submitted Basil’s video and won a $100 prize, donated to the ASPCA. Basil was adopted from the Washington Humane Society and lives with Bailey. Spooner is ICSC communications director and former Aiken Standard staffer.
