Milosevic indictment expands to include Kosovo victims
The United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague broadened the case against Slobodan Milosevic, adding hundreds of Kosovo Albanian victims to the charges. Chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte said the new indictment cites more than 600 Kosovo deaths, doubling the earlier count, as Milosevic faces potential life imprisonment if convicted. Investigators also eye broader offenses in Croatia and Bosnia as indictments are prepared.
