Whiskey Road aesthetic plan moves forward with public input

Work progresses on a southern Whiskey Road entryway plan with area residents. Teen with pistol at North Augusta High faces probation

Joshua Jones a 15 year old North Augusta High School student was placed on indefinite probation after pleading guilty to bringing a handgun to campus May 14 He was released to his father with court guidelines and potential detention for any violation The case will be reviewed by the Aiken County Board of Education before possible readmission to classes
