First Time FHA Mortgage Changes Ahead of House Vote
Senate approved a measure boosting up front costs for first time FHA borrowers and extending the $124,875 mortgage ceiling in high cost areas while authorizing an $8 billion housing funding increase next year. The bill, backed by Housing Secretary Kemp and Sen. Don Riegle, faces House opposition after July 4 recess.
