Storm Breaks Across Aiken Golf Course Fire
A storm caused a fire at Palmetto Golf Course damaging a shedding area near the 16th fairway. Sgt. Larry Burch cited faulty wiring or a battery charger as possible causes while officials investigate. Power outages affected about 150 residents in Gem Lake and Virginia Acres, with power restored by nightfall.
