Three-Wheeled Mail Carrier Bobs Aiken Streets
Brownlee delivers U S mail through rain and heat on a three-wheeled bike in downtown Aiken. The Ohio native moved to the area for warmer climes and now lives in North Augusta, working first in Augusta then Aiken since 1974. He has logged 18 years with the postal service, protected by his fit physique and a playful dog encounter, while enjoying car rebuilding, reading, walking, and fishing. He serves as secretary of the local National Association of Letter Carriers chapter.
