L B Ergle turns career toward guiding merging districts
L B Ergle recovered from a near fatal heart attack to lead Langley Bath Clearwater High School in 1953. He helped consolidate seven valley communities into a unified district while promoting diversification and real case exposure through visiting professionals. He recalled joining after initial refusal due to health and walking limits, and credited Hank Caver’s football team with uniting the locals.
