Schrom Comes Close to No Hit Then Twins Walk Off

Ken Schrom pitched nine innings of one hit ball for Minnesota as Roy Smalley delivered a two run pinch hit single in the bottom of the ninth to give the Twins a dramatic 2 1 victory over Kansas City at the Metrodome. Schrom left after nine with the lone run coming on a first inning wild pitch.

Hoyt Extends Win Streak as Padres Top Dodgers 10-4
