Traits Of Exceptional Children Outlined For AMBUCS
AMBUCS members heard from Joan Jackson of East Georgia Learning Resources System about diagnosing exceptional children. She noted multiple types from gifted to those with learning disabilities and physical impairments and stressed compensatory strategies and language-based challenges. GLRS trains teachers and parents, with 17 GLAS centers in Georgia, while AMBUCS meets Tuesdays at 1 p.m. at Western Steer. president Dr. Jack B. Hamrick.
