Heavy Valley turnout despite showers in county runoff

Polls opened with mixed early turnout as Horse Creek Valley showed the strongest participation while Aiken saw few Republicans. Dems led in turnout with 32 votes in Gloverville and 50 in Precinct 3 Aiken. precincts 7 12 19 51 and parts 8 15 18 41 49 vote for District 3 council. Campaign races include sheriff nominee and a U.S. Senate race on the Republican side. Ballot eligibility requires registration by May 24 and runoff voting is open to those who voted June 10 but not to switch parties.

Prices Rise Slowly Across May Inflation
