Judge undecided on Windsor road closure case
Aiken County Judge has not ruled on a civil case seeking to close and abandon about 2 miles of Oak Ridge Club Road and 1 mile of Old Bell Road in Windsor. Master-in-Equity Anderson Griffith said a decision could come in less than 60 days, with the case still without a timetable. Plaintiffs Canadian River Farms Ltd and others allege littering vandalism and speeding impede farming near U.S. 78, while residents fear slower emergency response times to a local facility and propane tanks.
