Tropical Storm Celia Aims For Hurricane Strength off Mexico
Tropical Storm Celia threatened to become a hurricane as it moved west off Mexico with 65 mph winds. Forecasters warned of dangerous surf and swells along the Pacific coastline while Celia centers about 340 miles south-southeast of Acapulco and slowly gains strength. Elsewhere Blas weakened to 45 mph away from land.
