Sammy Sosa powered his 600th career homer in Arlington, a solo shot off the Cubs in the fifth, becoming the fifth player to reach the milestone. Sosa, with the Texas Rangers after a year away, previously starred for Chicago from 1992 to 2004 and earned 1998 NL MVP honors.
