Fire near Fort Collins scorched about 85 square miles and destroyed at least 181 homes, the most in state history. More than 1,500 personnel fought the blaze 15 miles west of Fort Collins, with a potential two to four week path to full containment. A 62 year old woman was found dead in her cabin, death tied to the fire remains under investigation.
The Aiken Community Playhouse Youth Wing presents The Three Billy Goats Gruff by Patrick Dorn in a summer Garden Theatre series. Performances run Tuesday at 7 pm at Aiken County Public Library and Wednesday at 11 am and 7 pm at Hopelands Gardens. All shows are free. audience should bring blankets or chairs.
