James Edward Greame 76 of Aiken SC died unexpectedly June 12 2021 at his residence He was a native of Scranton PA son of Walter Harvey Greame and Arline Peters Greame A Drew University graduate he spent his career as a mechanical engineer with ALCO retiring in 2012 after 44 years He lived in Long Valley NJ then moved to Aiken in 1988 Survived by Joyce Greame two children Alyssa Wingard Donnie Wingard Chris Greame Michelle Greame grandchildren and siblings A memorial reception is planned June 26 at his residence and a life celebration on October 9 in Cape May Point NJ Memorials to Wounded Warrior Project or SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare

Survivors include two daughters Naomi Williams and Sandra Penn two sons Milton Lloyd and Daniel Lloyd a sister Blanche Riley a brother Perry Battle three grandchildren. Kay Hillman of Graniteville South Carolina died following a long life of work at Carol Fabrics. She was 73 and is survived by her niece Dina Wright and nephews Gary Hillman and Kenneth Hillman. Graveside services were held at Sunset Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev Manuel Gunter. She was born in Aiken to Marvin and Vera Hillman and was a former Piney Heights Baptist member. Travis Taylor of Taylor Custom Pools, arrested for breach of trust, now faces false pretense and fraud charges per an incident report from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. A first complaint cited a $9,000 payment for incomplete work. a second cited $22,000 paid for a pool installation with no contact after payment. A forgery warrant was served Thursday.
