Four new bald eagles arrive in New York City parks
Four five to seven week old bald eagles flown from Wisconsin arrived at Inwood Hill Park to begin a second attempt at restoring the species in the city. Alexander Brash said the birds take three to five years to adapt and hopes last year's eagles will return. Park ranger Tom Cullen placed US Fish and Wildlife bands on the young birds before placing them in two tree houses for examination and acclimation.
