Inmate Dasa dies by hanging in South Carolina jail
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says autopsy found 21 year old Amarendra Dasa died from asphyxia due to hanging. Dasa’s body was found in the county jail around 5 am Saturday while the State Law Enforcement Division investigates. He had been found incompetent to stand trial in the stabbing death of his 16 year old brother Aja on Feb 11, 2015.
